Protect Your Health From Radiation Exposure from Japan with EFT

Article by Jane Mountrose

The nuclear disaster in Japan has generated tremendous fear and stress all around the world, especially in the western part of the US, where signs of increased radioactivity have been detected. Understandably, worries about the effects on health are climbing, along with a sense of powerlessness that comes from our inability to block these elevated levels of radiation from blowing onto our shores.

The good news is that you can do something. Joseph Mercola MD, an expert in natural approaches to health, first recommends alleviating stress. He says that panic and fear can quite possibly have greater impacts on your overall wellness than exposure to the current low levels of radiation are likely to have. It is well known that uninterrupted states of fear and stress have adverse effects on your health.

Such fears are, of course, to be expected during crises like this, but you can take steps to safeguard your physical wellbeing. Dr. Mercola suggests using EFT, the Emotional Freedom Techniques. Deepak Chopra heralds this unconventional technique as offering great health benefits. It stabilizes the body’s energy system and has shown itself to be effective for a broad array of physical and emotional symptoms. Considering its ease and healing benefits, it’s not surprising that more healing practitioners are getting EFT Training and individuals are seeking to learn EFT tapping.

A Few Words about the Emotional Freedom Techniques

EFT is an energy healing tool created by Gary Craig in the early 1990′s. EFT has gained widespread popularity and recognition from the fact that it is so simple that almost anyone can apply it to deal with challenging feelings, stress, phobias, depression, back pain, and more. And EFT works so fast that people often start to notice changes in just a few moments.

It’s easy to do this process. It just involves tapping on a short sequence of points on the body. You may not be able to fathom how this could actually produce results, but it does in most situations. Gary Craig compares stimulating these specific spots to overhauling a car.

The Nuclear Crisis and More

This is an opportunity to learn how stress is affecting you with the nuclear crisis and in life in general. Here are two steps to get started:

First, look at all of the causes of stress in your daily life. The first step for successful change is getting clear about what is happening. Get out a pen and paper and create a list of your current sources of stress.

Next, consider ways to respond differently to these causes of stress. Go down your list, and consider ways you might alter the way you react. As suggested, the Emotional Freedom Techniques can work wonders with this area and more.

Many individuals live habitually with excess stress, and this can degrade one’s health. Fortunately, this can change. And EFT can play a transformational role in reducing stress and many other challenges you face.
